The indictment, unsealed on Monday, alleges that Ma Xiaohong and her company, Dandong Hongxiang Industrial Development Co., served as financial fronts for North Korean companies sanctioned by the U.S. for their alleged role in developing Pyongyang’s nuclear and ballistic-missile capabilities.

Philippines

He told reporters he was "not really" breaking ties with the U.S., his country's long-time treaty ally, but will open all areas of trade and commerce to China and Russia. It would not include military alliances, he said.

Work

With robots, is a life without work one we'd want to live? theguardian w!

I reckon [Aristotle would] be proud of where we’ve got. Today, the fourth industrial revolution – which ranges from artificial intelligence to genetic engineering and automation – promises almost total freedom from weariness and uninterrupted leisure time as demands of work are taken away from us by better, cheaper and more efficient artificial technology.

So why, the article goes on to try to explain from a non-Biblical view, do people WANT to work even if given the choice to relax all day? We can look no further than Genesis 2:15 to see that man was created to work, and so even though work has become harder as a result of the fall (Gen 3:17-18), it's no wonder that we still feel work gives us meaning (even when we aren't working for God's glory, as we were designed).

Space

Rosetta spacecraft to fling itself at comet in a suicide mission usatoday

Early on Friday, the craft will smash in slow motion onto the comet. Moving at the pace of a stroll, Rosetta will touch down, bounce and eventually come to rest, probably breaking its solar panels or instrument booms as it tumbles. No word from it will ever reach Earth again.

Also see Rosetta: What did Europe's comet mission uncover? indiatimes. I'll give you a hint: nothing matched the planetary evolutionary models...for some reason.
